...as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD! - Joshua 24:15

A Promise For You

The Lord God created everything.

Acts 17:33

The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth.

There is nothing in the universe that God didn't create.

Everything in this world belongs to God.

1 Corinthians 10:26

The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it.

The Lord created everything we see, touch, hear, taste, and smell. Because of this, everything belongs to the Lord.

No one is righteous.

Romans 3:10

There is no one righteous, not even one.

This means there is not one person who does right all of the time. There is not one person living on earth who is totally pure in heart and life.

There is none that understands or seeks after God.

Romans 3:11

There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away.

No one, if left to themselves, will seek to find God because they don't understand the condition they are in.

Everyone is a sinner.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Everyone has sinned in their lives, there is no exception.

You will die.

Romans 6:23a

For the wages of sin is death.

Since everyone has sinned, if left on your own. you will die. To die means to go to hell.

Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates his own love for us. in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus Christ was God in human form that lived on this earth. He was perfect. He never sinned, he never did wrong. Because of his love for us he was crucified on the cross.

We can have eternal life.

Romans 6:23b

The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Since Jesus never sinned, he was perfect in God's eyes. To enter heaven you must be perfect in God's eyes. Jesus loves you so much, that he died on the cross for you. When he died, since he was perfect and sinless, he took all of your sins upon himself. Now you are presented sinless before God.

You need to confess Jesus.

Romans 10:9a

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,

To "Confess" means to tell God what you believe about Jesus Christ. He wants to know that you believe Jesus is Lord and Savior, and that you believe His death on the cross was in payment for your sins.

Jesus is alive today.

Romans 10:9b

and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,

God wants to know that you believed Jesus is alive today.

You will have eternal life.

Romans 10:9c

you will be saved.

This is God's gift to you: If you acknowledge your belief in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection - that He did this for your - God will give you eternal life.

If you confess Jesus, you will go to heaven.

Romans 10:10

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

You MUST believe this with all your heart and confess it with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. If you do this, you will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven.

God's promise to you.

Romans 10:13

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

This is God's promise to you.

If you die today will you go to heaven? Will your family go to heaven? If you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior you can be assured you WILL GO TO HEAVEN!

Rev 3:20 - Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

This is Jesus talking to you. If you ask him into your life and admit he is your Lord and Savior, He will open the door and let you in.

Are you willing to turn to God from a lifestyle of sin and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life? Are you willing to ask Jesus into your life?

ROMANS 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

If so, pray this prayer.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and need forgiveness from You.

I believe that You died on the cross and rose again from

the dead in order that I might receive eternal life.

I turn away from my sins and ask for forgiveness from You.

Right now I trust You as my Savior and will follow you as my Lord.

Thank You for hearing my prayer and giving me eternal life.

I pray this to you in Jesus' Name,

Amen
